Leadership Team
Dorinda Parker —Vice President and General Manager
Dorinda leads the Collabrus organization, offering premier consultant payroll, consultant management, and compliance services. Before joining the company in 2000, she spent five years in senior leadership positions at IKON Office Solutions and 20 years in executive management at Xerox Corporation. She has served on the board of directors of the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art and of the University of Oregon Alumni Association and served as a State of Oregon Economic Development Commissioner. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon.
Kay Ring —Vice President, Business Development
Kay is our Vice President, Business Development. In this role she is chartered with developing new client relationships and helping to chart the growth of the company. Ms. Ring brings 20 years of sales experience to Collabrus along with her intimate knowledge of contingent workforce management and the complex market landscape. In her 22 year career Kay has been a pacesetter in a variety of business development roles. She has spent the last 7 years in the contingent workforce management industry working for WorkforceLogic. In that role she established a strong record of success , designing payroll and IC compliance programs, and -customized managed services programs for a number of Fortune 1000 companies. Kay attended the University of Alabama in Birmingham and completed her Business Administration degree at University of Phoenix.
Walter Branam —Compliance Services Manager
Walt has over 30 years of experience working with The State of California’s Employment Development Department (CA EDD) in labor and tax audits. As a former Tax Auditor, Tax Administrator, facilitator of the CA EDD’s first Taxpayer Rights Advocate Program, and designer of the CA EDD’s Settlement Program his knowledge of the Federal and State employment laws, regulations, and audit criteria provides valuable insight into how to prevent worker misclassification. Walt has been a featured speaker before numerous industry and professional groups and brings his compliance expertise to the private sector as the in-house Worker Classification and Employment Tax Compliance Specialist at Collabrus Inc. Walt has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and a Masters of Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach.
Kimball Norup —Chief Marketing Officer
Kimball joined Collabrus in 2007. Prior to joining the company, Kimball was Senior Vice President of Marketing for the Nelson Family of Companies. Before Nelson, Kimball was Vice President - Business Development for eSolo.com, and before that was Vice President - Marketing & Sales for Noverus. Kim was with Geodex International for eight years, the last four of which he served as President. He graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and earned an MBA from the University of California at Davis.
Kimball is also Chief Marketing Officer of Collabrus’ parent company, M² Consulting.
Russel Orelowitz —Chief Financial Officer
A member of the M² Board of Directors since 1999, Russel joined the company as chief financial officer in 2005. He was previously chief financial officer of Educor, where he oversaw its diversification into the staffing and consulting industries. He is a qualified chartered accountant in South Africa and holds bachelors degrees in commerce and accountancy.
Russel is also Chief Financial Officer of Collabrus’ parent company, M² Consulting.
